You must wonder why a man would be writing about fibroids when it is a women’s problem, but is it only a women’s problem? I submit to you that any problem my wife has affects me also. What happened back in the late 60′s made this my problem when my wife started having problems that the doctors said was an infection and over a period of 3 years was hospitalised several times and never had any help. Two Types Of Fibroid

Fibroids are generally classified according to their location or position in the woman’s uterus. Here are just two examples of fibroids: Subserosal Fibroids This type of fibroid is located in the serosa (outermost layer) and outside the wall of the uterus, also called the womb. They continue their outward growth. Subserosal fibroids can cause tissue compression on areas that are surrounding it, such as the bladder and/or bowel. They are not generally the cause of excessive bleeding, as they do not affect a woman’s menstrual flow.
