A little about us, in 1995 we were trucking, driving team in a big rig, nationwide. Eating in truck stops and one sleeps while the other drives. Usually one stop a day to fuel, shower, and eat a full meal. I am sure you have seen the food in truck stops. Well, I went to the doctor for a rash I had, something I picked up in Asia and it would not go away. The nurse checked my blood pressure and it was out of site. Doc said get a BP monitor and check it daily for a week and come back. He figured on putting me on medication for it.

I did check the BP and we decided to get off the road and change our eating habits. Lois learned how to cook vegan and my BP went down. Since that time we have ate very little meat, no red meat at all and until recently did not eat any dairy products.

Since that time many things have happened, a lot of water under the bridge so to speak. After 15 years of eating vegan and taking 36 chelation treatments 5 years ago, I thought my heart was in good shape. Wrong! Oct. 4, 2009 I had a heart attack, I had gone 5 years without any chelation. That was dumb since I knew I should be doing one once in a while. Anyway, I am back at it and have had about 12 treatments to this date – Dec. 28, 2009 and will continue for the rest of my life with maybe one a month. Today in Nampa, Idaho a treatment is $108 which is cheap compared to the nearly $50,000 the heart attack cost, thank the Lord that I have medicare and it didn’t cost me all that.
